Kate Tutty Creative is a destination and Vancouver Island photographer who specializes in boudoir, and intimate weddings and elopement coverage. She was born and raised on Vancouver Island and is celebrating 15 years behind the lens.

Forever inspired by memorable moments and body image medicine that incredible images provide, her work and photography style offers an elegant documentary style that relies on light and emotion. Drawing from a background in fine art photography, yoga, writing, entrepreneurship and hospitality management, she's passionate about exceptional client care and creative direction.

With a preference for sentimental, intimate, and intentional ceremonies, she truly adores seeking out subtle symbolism and artful details, capturing candid emotions and energy and designing artwork and albums that will become a part of your legacy for generations.

Her artistry relies on a combination of digital and film photography, and a love of natural light, joyful and playful photoshoots, and incredible prints. She has been immersed in photography education – at university, at workshops in Arizona, and throughout the pacific northwest – for over a decade. No matter what celebration you've planned, and how the day unfolds, your wedding photos will be incredible.

What I adore about working as a wedding photographer on Vancouver Island, is the diversity of stunning venues, architecture, and landscapes, mild climate, and incredibly talented local vendors and aesthetic ceremony options. From cuisine and catering, to florals, to diverse untraditional venues including forest wedding venues, dramatic urban scenes, nearby wineries, beaches, or seaside views, this is a beautiful part of the world to plan your ceremony.
