The couples featured below are real and sentimental romantics – my approach when working with each of them is to capture the unique ways that they hold, appreciate, and care for one another and celebrate beyond the "have to's" of tradition.
My coverage approach is documentary in nature – it focuses on curating moments and details in between a candid photojournalism workflow that seeks out and anticipates the wonderful ways that young children animate their elders and the belly laughs that only the realest friends evoke.
I give couples space to enjoy the day and stay connected and grounded in their celebrations – and find moments during our time together to laugh, capture connection and enjoy quality time as I guide you through our portrait session. First and foremost – elopement days are about setting your own pace and intentions, and celebrating your love story and expressing your authentic connection long before it’s about a photoshoot.
