History

The Sussex-style manor house was built in 1939 by Britain's Warren and Barbara Hastings. The estate was turned into a boutique hotel in 1981, retaining the English country feel through extensive gardens and English country fabrics in the guest suites. The hotel's old world architecture and design reflect its natural surroundings, and guests can expect a peaceful and tranquil experience. The venue itself includes intimate dining rooms in the manor house, a sprawling forest lawn with Salish Sea views, and garden terraces.
