I had the opportunity to reconnect with a dear friend from high school (Raincoast Photography), whose now a photographer – I hadn’t seen her since grade 10 when we were inseparable all summer. I’d been sharing ideas and planning a dreamy winter concept that was, playful, sentimental and elegant – what came together had all the charm of two high school sweethearts that wanted an elopement reminiscent of their first dance at their winter formal.
Studio 549 is a fabulous live-work studio space that’s been the home of Chinatown Sessions (live streamed live music). Some of my favourite images from the series are during golden hour, when the light flooded the room.
