We were recommended by a friend to have Kate be the one to shoot our engagement and wedding photos after looking at their photos. We were particularly interested in her editorial style and vintage aesthetic. Even after just meeting Kate the first moment, we knew we had made the right decision. She was professional, but also warm and cheerful. We were honestly fearing the engagement shoot, not knowing what to expect, how to pose, etc. However, Kate was so effective in providing direction and guidance it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend, who so happened to be a photographer.

With how smooth the engagement shoot went, the wedding day shoot was just as smooth. We also loved being provided sneak peek photos through the process and we were blown away with what we were shown. If you want your photos to tell a story with depth and mood, then Kate should be your photographer. We are so happy she captured our special day!

I did not think we would be able to get our dream photographer for our wedding but it happened! We were in love the moment we saw Kate’s work, and after our initial call, it kicked off our entire wedding. She is an artist through and through and we were honoured to have our love and our special day as her subject.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Kate. We did an engagement shoot with her last year and our photos turned out amazing. Both my fiancé and I are a bit awkward in front of a camera and she did a great job suggesting poses that didn’t feel forced, as well as making us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. She was able to include our dogs in the photos and gave us a great selection of shots to choose from for our final selection.She was extremely responsive and didn’t make us feel rushed throughout any part of the process. 02 The Vision.

For weddings, elopements, and Super 8 commissions, we’ll hop on a call to discuss the atmosphere of your celebration: the light, the location, and the movement. If you’re booking a portrait session, you can secure your place directly via our digital calendar.

03 The Commission.

Once we find our rhythm, you’ll receive a tailored proposal. A signed contract and 30% retainer (or full session fee) officially secures your date on our studio calendar.
